The Senior Marketing Manager will provide product management, marketing management, and technical support to core single-ply, asphaltic, and solar brand management teams.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor technical competitive trends within marketplace and identify technical opportunities for application with product categories.
Identify opportunities to streamline/reduce manufacturing, purchasing and distribution costs.
Update technical product data and literature to be consistent with codes and regulatory requirements.
Develop brand and product strategies for assigned products and translate these strategies into day to day management of products.
Manage and lead product development efforts of technically oriented Low Slope products as necessary.
Conduct market research and publish technical reports on key business issues and strategic initiatives.
Present information at trade shows, technical forums, etc. as necessary.
Requirements:
*BS Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering coupled with an advanced degree in science or engineering (MS or PhD) or equivalent experience
*5 - 7 years of R&D or technical work)
*A self-starter with attention to detail and accuracy, strong marketing orientation with rigorous financial discipline with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects within timelines. Leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams/tasks and interface with R&D and Engineering to develop new products and process for marketing new products.
*Very strong communication and presentation skills are needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA is a plus. Demonstrated production experience within the roofing industry as well as project management experience are desirable.
